Take a trip on the Flavors of Fairfield culinary tour of local eateries with global cuisine

FAIRFIELD – Have a hankering for chicken pad Thai? How about carnitas or mofongos?

They are just a sampling of dishes from 21 international restaurants and three bakeries, all located in Fairfield.

Eateries include food from Nepal, India, Italy, Vietnam, Peru, Mexico, West Africa and other countries.

In partnership with Travel Butler County, Fairfield is launching the Flavors of Fairfield program now through May 15 in celebration of National Food Month.

“We have a kind of a gem here in Fairfield. We have a number of international restaurants dotting (Ohio) Route 4 and other parts of the city,’’ said Nathaniel Kaelin, the city’s economic development manager.
