4,200 still without power in Franklin County

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — More than 5,300 Franklin County AEP customers remain without power after strong thunderstorms blew through central Ohio.

According to the energy provider, 4,225 customers in the county are without power as of 8:25 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, 2,772 Fairfield County, 1,447 Athens County, 290 Perry County and 59 Licking County customers are also experiencing outages. In total, 9,455 customers across AEP’s service area are without electricity.
